Visa, is recruiting women for the Visa Returnship Program, based in our Bangalore office. This is a 6-month work-based upskilling program for women who have previously worked in the technology field, have taken a career break, and who are ready to start a new chapter by returning to the technology workforce.
The program brings the benefits of Visa’s extensive expertise in payments and payment network technology to women seeking to upgrade their skills and expertise to facilitate a return to the workforce.
The program will feature upskilling and on-the-job training, and you will gain a solid understanding of the payment industry across traditional, eCommerce and FinTech players.
You will have the opportunity to train and be upskilled in software development roles within Visa. As this returnship requires full-time commitment for 6 months, you will receive a stipend in addition to coaching support and other employee benefits.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a skill development and network building conference in July 2024. The official training program starts in September 2024.

The program is a 6 months integrated hybrid learning journey, with a blend of OTJ (On-the-Job) training and self-paced learning through Visa-provided resources. Participants are required to attend the training in-person at Visa’s Bangalore office.

The program is open to any women technologist with work authorization to work in the country this position is in, who have taken a career break of at least 18 months. Applicants should also fulfill any role requirements outlined in the role description(s). Ideal candidates should have previous working experience in related roles.

Applicants will be invited for interviews with the recruiting team, hiring manager and Visa’s technology leadership team to assess fit and suitability for the program.

Yes, applicants should fulfil the technical requirements outlined in the role description.

Applicants need not be based in Bangalore to apply. However, to be eligible for the program, participants must be willing to relocate to Bangalore. A relocation subsidy will be provided to eligible applicants.

Yes, trainees will be a provided a monthly stipend with medical benefits and leaves. More information will be shared once trainee(s) have been selected for the program.
