Visa unveils hyperlocal offers to keep festive celebrations going

• Joins hands with local merchants in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata and other cities to provide customers the joy of shopping
• Visa has curated more than 275 region specific offers across key cities

 

Visa (NYSE: V), the global leader in payments technology, announced it is partnering with an array of merchants across multiple cities for over 275 exclusive, hyperlocal offers to cardholders to keep the celebrations going for consumers this festive season. Visa cardholders are now eligible for attractive discounts of up to 15-40 per cent in popular categories that deliver a rewarding shopping experience and encourage use of digital payments.

Speaking on the announcement, Arvind Ronta, Head of Products, India and South Asia, Visa said, “The festive season in India is characteristically one where consumers make high ticket spends, often deferring purchases to time it with this period. We are delighted to provide consumers an opportunity to extend their festive celebrations beyond Diwali. With local businesses trying to return to normal, we are confident that our partnership with merchants will enable them to offer great incentives and attract more customers.
